Gangs

Zone 7  and 9 Gangs

The Penitent Ones DESTROYED

The light of the Emperor grows dim on Farport, and it falls to the flame of redemption to burn away the people’s sins.
Theophilos and his silent right hand Theophobos arrived in Dirtside 5 years ago, and founded The Penitent Ones in service of House Cawdor to bring out the twin virtues the Emperor demands from his people. Love and fear.
Theophobos is uncompromising in his faith, and sees hope in the wretches of Dirtside that they may be lifted up from their sin to serve the Emperor.
In his territory Theophilos shields the poor and downtrodden, running soup kitchens and finding work in Cawdor weapon shops, that they might better know His blessing. While at the same time, fighters go out to crush the decadent and corrupt criminals that infest the city. Successive governors and major corporations also attract the ire of the faithful, growing fat when they should be dedicating all to the Emperor, such sinners must burn for the redemption to be complete.
The Penitent ones suffered a number of losses after claiming some territoriy in Zone 7 and the remaining gang were killed by Poxwalkers during the second warp plague outbreak

The Seven Skinners MISSING PRESUMED DEAD

The "Skinners" appeared within Zone 7 nine years ago, determined to avenge an attack upon a native band a few months prior. Their rampage across the slums was only stopped when a number of gangs set aside their differences to take down the Renegade band. Cornered just outside the slums, the Skinners were put down. Now, a new band has taken the mantle of the "Skinners", calling themselves the "Seven Skinners", named after one brutal incident where the Skinners skinned seven gangers just outside Neeson's Claim (including Neeson). The Seven Skinners are led by Nashoba Pyrr Cat and Ahote Dead Cat. They lived on the outskirts of Dirtside and were forced to flee when their families were taken by the Pox plague. Convinced that their families were infected by "A'low'vey'la" - the natives name for the invaders and sickness, for they see disease as the curse of the invader. The Seven Skinners have sworn to avenge their families with the blood of the invaders.

The Proto-Men DEAD save Scarlett V0.7

The Proto-men are modified humans through a mixture of techniques.
All the Proto-men save Scarlett V0.7 were killed during the second Warp plague outbreak in Zone 7. Scarlett remains the sole known survivor of Zone 7

The Metal Heads Status unknown

Dirtside Slums Capture/Kill Arbites Pursuit Team

The Arbites on Dirtside are severely stretched, having only 100 Arbites to cover the whole planet. This is unlikely to change even despite the recent change in planetary Tithe grade. However, with the recent outbreak of Warp Plague within Zone 7 and the rumour of off world belligerents being the cause has prompted a response from the planetary precinct. Normally a response from Arbites to such incursions would involve entire precincts with hundreds of Arbites, but Dirtside can only spare 5 - Regulator Von Briggs, Trooper Cross, Trooper Horowitz, Trooper Bates and Trooper Tanner.

NOTE: This gang is intended to be used by those wanting to try Necromunda and by the Arbitrator

Aquiline Shadows (Venators) UNKNOWN

What the Arbitrators won’t touch, we choke.
What the gangs leave for dead, we turn into death itself.
While the other gangs scrabble like rats, we spread our wings.

We are the Aquiline Shadows. And we’re already over you.
(Graffiti scribbled over the body of a freelance torturer.)

The Aquiline shadow are something between the Arbitrators who make everyone’s lives that bit more difficult, and the stories your mother told you of monsters who would come if you misbehaved. These Venators are no less avaricious and ruthless than the other scum who ply Zone 7, they have one key difference. By targeting the Hive’s bogeymen, their Leader ‘Boss Hogg’ has established herself an envious relationship for her crew. The champions of the (admittedly numerous) downtrodden in the lower hives who simply want to be left alone. This is not to say they will think twice about opening fire on said civilians or working them over for ‘donations to the cause’. With refusal being seen as complicity in wrongdoing, and the use of the myriad of toxins and radiation based weapons as ‘deterrents’, worst of all, people mostly swallow it. Such underhive vigilantes can be a valuable asset, giving a veneer of agreeability and political virtue to the actions of whichever house is hiring them. Such political leverage usually being worth Hogg’s exorbitant fees for the services of the Shadow.
